The Divisional Playoffs start in the NFC, in San Francisco with a game between the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers. The St. Louis Rams played both of these teams, beating the Saints in what might be the flukiest upset in the NFL this season. There's another connection here for Rams fans, with Saints DC Gregg Williams reportedly going to join Jeff Fisher in St. Louis.
Watch Williams defense in this game. Drew Brees and the Saints offense gets most of the pub these days, but Williams will be working to make life tough for Alex Smith ... I like him already. New Orleans has a really poor pass defense this season. They led the league in blitzing as well as dropping eight into coverage, as a means of compensating. Keep your eye on how Williams works against this team and try to imagine him working with the Rams against this same team next season.

Yeah a lot of that had to due with the fact he didn't play football the year before
we knew he was going to take time when we picked him, but it seems he will be a great pick!

but Quinn and Long will be edge rushers on those plays and no matter what system we’re in we need upgrades at DT.

What's your take on the potential "star" OC and DC line up for the Rams that has been written about lately
Not that Schottenheimer JR (sp) is that big a star, but how do you see them and what will be their individual draft and FA wants? Will Fisher focus on D first, or O?

i think jets fans are trashing shottenheimer for no reason, i think he would be on the same page as jeff fisher, as in they both like to run, a run first system which im going to like. to be honest douglas, jets fans were quick to trash there OC, where as i thought it was mark sanchez that made the offense sputter, he’s just not right for that system to me.
norw the question to me will be, will fisher let shottenheimer do his thing? as for gregg williams/ i LOVE that move if it happens! thing is, while watching this gm, he seems to be blitzing at the wrong times, and is getting his defense burned. but i like his attack mentality. williams likes to run a 4-3, so im hoping he can have some imput on what drat picks, or free agents would be good for the rams defense.

Anybody notice how Brees stops being accurate with pressure in his face?
I was dumb to jump on Bradford after the kind of “protection” he’s gotten; The O-line makes such a huge difference. I always knew that, but seeing a guy of Brees’ caliber look bad on so many plays cements it for me.
It's the same for Brady and Rodgers as well.
People who complain about their offensive lines (don’t know why) fail to realize that while Rodgers may get sacked, he still gets plenty of time to throw the ball.

brady had 2 TE’s that are awesome, while we could add up everything all of our TE’s do and wouldnt equal even Hernandez. our wr’s suck compared to theres except for ocho cinco. we lack wr talent massivly. and thats why amendoalla has to play the role he does and welker gets to play his.

and even before Moss. Does he do short routes? Yes, but he also can run deep routes very very well and he can make explosive plays down the field. Danny can’t.
