Someone on another posting mentioned a few college coaches to consider as the Fisher opera continues. I like the idea of Nick Sabin. I know he's not likely to leave Alabama, but if the talk of throwing $ and VP to Fisher on the table, why not a retread. Saban's success in Alabama partially has to be from what he learned from his failure in Miami. And this might be more attractive place for free agents with him here.
There are others also that might be out there worth looking at. Dave Wienstead (spelling?), Haley and others as assistants could work out like Vermeil's staff did when he was here. The concern for experience would be addressed and there is no replacing NFL experience.
Some concern that Fisher's record is of concern, come-on man, you want a experienced coach right? Who else available right now would you get then?!!! I also don't want someone with no H.C. experience. And to me, there's no one that has been mentioned or interviewed that can succeed here without a strong, experienced G.M. and staff here.
