Not predictions for a change
It seems that everybody on Turf Show Times is making predictions for the season. Well it is easy to throw numbers out there on what you think will happen, so instead i am going to say something a little bit different and throw out a few congratulations.
First i absolutely love the coaches idea here with the receivers. although i would've liked to see Donnie Avery stay a Ram i understand the decision. The Rams were able to bring back Mark Clayton which in of itself isnt that huge since he is still injured from last season, but he is sitting on the PUP list, which means he isnt taking up a roster spot. And since we all know that our receivers are injury prone, this is actually a rather smart move. so when Danario Alexander goes down like we all know he will there is still hope, or if (knock on wood) Amendola gets hurt we will still be able to cover up.
Also, since Big Mike "uh-oh" Hoomanawanui seems to never get rid of the injury bug, keeping 4 Tight ends was a great idea.
Although i was sad to see Thadeus Lewis leave i completely understand the coaches POV here. Even though Bradford has about the same amount of experience as Feeley, Feeley has seen more types of Defense and has learned more offensive playbooks. And i personally do feel comfortable with Feeley coming in if he had to finish a game. to make a comeback no, but to simply not lose the game yes.
then just because i wanted to, my prediction for Sunday is Rams win after Vick is pressured and sacked all day, Jackson and Williams combine for 160 rushing yards and the Rams win it 24-13

Lots of pressure on Hendricks to stay healthy here...
… The offense is still a work in progress, but I like the direction and the speed at which it’s coming on line. Biggest concern for me is that Sam is still learning to call protections. Learning to do it against an Andy Reid team is a trial by fire.
I am more concerned than you are about Feeley. No good can come from a place holding QB, no matter the experience level. I’d still like to see us grab QB Adam Weber off of the Denver practice squad. He is going to be the steal of a life time for some team.
thankyou
and i have seen a little bit of Weber, he is impressive. i think it would definetly be a good addition. getting solid cheap backups is always a challenge. and i dont think anyone expects Feeley to be a cure all if Bradford goes down. But with Lewis having no Real NFL experience (except Pre-Season) he does pose a decent liability. Plus we have been rather surprised with how well Devaney and Spags are making these decisions, i think its time we trust them.
A fan trusting the FO completely? Don't give in to the darkside Luke... (just kidding)
They have made some pretty good moves. Some raise questions, but they’ve forgotten more than I’ll ever know about running an NFL team.
definetly not an author
i just know the term. i am just another Die Hard Rams fan who lives too far away to go to the games.
btw
i didnt even notice that you are one of the main authors until just now. i wish i could do what you do. i am a huge fan. i wish i simply had the writing ability to do this. But i am a rams fan surrounded by chiefs, Vikings, and Packers fans. and both of my roommates are steelers fans. so i am definetly out of place. But i never lose focus and wear my rams jerseys proud.
