Random Ramsdom, 9/5: Rewarding your labor
Happy Labor Day everyone! The real Labor Day is May 1, but I'll take a long weekend to reward the efforts of workers, even if real wages have been stagnant or declining for a decade while we wait for those windfalls to start trickling down. Take a few minutes out of your day to read about the St. Louis Rams. We have just the thing for you: links!
Other teams interested in Rams' players, how times have changed - Five players released by the Rams found new homes rather quickly yesterday, including Thaddeus Lewis and George Selvie. The Browns' liked Lewis' talent, and head coach Pat Schurmur knows him. Lewis will be the third QB in Cleveland. It was hard to see him go, but he has just 60 preseason passes on his NFL resume.
Why ex-49er Wragge makes sense for Rams - Simple, it's the power, stupid. Wragge's a good backup interior lineman that give the Rams some power should one of their starters not be available. He also plays center which is Fraley was active over John Greco through the second half of last season.
Who is Ben Guidugli? - He's just a normal guy, trying to make his way in the NFL. The UDFA earned his spot on the roster by displaying his versatility, what else, in practice and the preseason. A University of Cincinnati product, he lines up at fullback, in-line and plays special teams.
Expanding Asomugha's role in Philly - Sure, Namdi makes the Eagles better, but the Eagles figure to make Namdi a better player too. Matt Bowen at the National Football Post looks at Asomugha's evolved role in Philly.

I'd love for NA to line up in press coverage on Kendricks
Lance has 50 lbs on him. He’d shove him down and be wide open.
Now for the other receivers, he’d own all of them
Baseball-Cardinals
Football-Rams
College Sports-MU Tigers!
pfft
that’d be easy. Kendricks to the sideline, jump ball. Next.

"The only thing better than watching the Rams win is watching the Rams win with my wife."
It's just that it's the "Wragge Dahl" thing that will allow us to run on either side-
A side note-
The Eagles are talking up the Falcon’s game-
They think like this-"Physicists ask: Where did all of the dark matter go? Answer: Vic. When Vic farts and new stars are born.
In the cool still quiet hours of night, you can hear Eagles players softly uttering love words to themselves while kissing their hands and arms. "I am the Dream team-I am the Dream team"
Why do you dislike Thad so much?
To stay with the Rams is a career killer- He would never start before Sam, thus just be a backup, forever-he’s to good for that, cut him loose to break out.

I do have to say
If Thad is that good (and I think he is), then they needed to keep him and let the hype grow, so they can get something for him. It is a business, after all.

Playing behind Sam, no one will ever hear his name called-
But when he beats out McCoy and becomes the starter (he’s Shummer’s guy after all) the NFL will be talking!
