Okay after reading this on SB Nation, "Eagles 2011 Prediction", it points to the perfect way to attack this team.
"So the Eagles head into the year kind of top heavy. They've got very good, proven defensive lineman and inexperienced linebackers. They've got the best corners in the NFL and young safeties. They've skill position players on offense that rival any team, but they've got two rookies starting on their offensive line. How the team manages to balance their high end talent with their youth and inexperience will ultimately be what decides how far they go this year." SBNation
The two rookies starting on the offensive line for the Eagles should be the point of our attack. I didn’t bother to see what positions they are in but it really doesn’t matter. If they are inside or outside they are going to have trouble with our pressure. Vick is going to be busy running around, and if our guys don’t contain him, it’s going to be painful.
The best corners in the NFL, are going to be a point of concern that may limit our pass attack. Sam will have to be perfect throwing the ball to remain INT free in this game. I’m looking for high completion type plays, and maybe Kendricks to find some open space free of defenders. Inexperienced line backing might mean that the run game is going to open up behind the mean streak of Mr. Dahl.
Playing in the dome always adds some kick to our team. Let’s hope the fans get a treat watching some great Rams plays.
McD is going to test the waters in several ways. I’m looking forward to seeing some Razle-Dazzle that makes the Eagles DC want to hide behind his clip board.
The thing I like about McD, that Shurmur didn’t seem to be able to do last year, is his adjustments during a game. I expect Salas and Pettis to make some nice plays, while the Eagles are worrying about Kendricks running amok behind the secondary. I expect to see the RB’s rotating, especially if SJ is not making any yardage.
I won’t even try to predict the final score; I just hope it's a big "W" for THE RAMS!
Okay, that’s the way I see it going down. It all depends on how good our OC is game planning and how well we execute that plan.
