Al Harris V.S Laurent Robinson
I have seen a lot of talk about Laurent Robinson and people going back on why we released him. He had some up side and could have helped us at this junction in the season but... The truth about this matter is that the week we brought on Al Harris for backup in the secondary I knew Laurent was gone. There was no way Laurent and Al were going to work together on the same team. Not only did Al snap Laurent's leg but he talked shit after he did it. I hated Al Harris so much after that game he was reaching into the depths of hate I have for Adam Vinatieri. Now he is a Ram and I am happy we have a hard nose gangster on our D. Just hope he can break some Engine's legs this coming Sunday. Come on boys and hit someone in the frickin mouth!

If anyone wants to question why we cut him
beyond the argument that he was absolutely abysmal last year (despite my support SMH) then I don’t know what to think of the NFL watching people.
He’s just not good. That knee injury obliterated all the tremendous upside he exhibited in early 2009 season.
Fickle fans are ridiculous and I can’t stomach all this reactionary BS we’re seeing.
Good post btw bro.
Didn’t know it was Al who caused the injury.

i actually looked into it, he wasnt THAT GREAT
he was averaging 55 yards a game for three games, and he had one td. thats around 800 yards and 6 tds over a season, if he could continue that. solid and great as that would have been, thats around what brandon gibson is on pace for. so at his best, he was putting up the numbers brandon gibson is now, and hes injury prone, and he promptly sucked the next season. i dont care who we put on the roster instead of him, im happy hes gone.

Damn, I didn't know that...
What struck me though, was that he had an impressive chemistry and the physical tools to improve.
About Gibson, we’re just too down on him, for no reason as well.
He’s been a solid player and makes more good plays than bad plays. Obviously he can be upgraded, but he’s not the cause for the Rams’ 0-3 start, no matter how hard we try.
