A lot of fans have asked "we and the Lions were supposed to be the two up and coming teams in the league, why are they getting so much better and us getting worse?" Well, heres a list of some of the reasons why

1) Draft Decisions: I'm not gonna sit here and subject you to a pick by pick analysis, I'm gonna just mention the biggies. Over the last 4 years, the Lions and Rams have both had 2 2nd overall picks and a 1st overall. The Lions have selected Megatron, SUH, and Stafford with those picks. We have selected Chris Long, Smith, and Sam with ours. Sam and Stafford is a wash, but Suh and Megatron, not even gonna get into how much better of picks those were.

 2) Free Agency: Neither one of the teams has been big players in Free Agency, but the difference, the Lions know when they need to just pay an A level free agent instead of adding 3 C/D level guys.

3) Coaching: Just look at how these coaches coach. Schwartz goes to his best guys (Megatron and Suh) when he needs a big play, not some low level guy. Who does Spags go to? Seriously, who does Spags go to, cause I have no clue.

Anymore questions as to why the Lions keep getting better and us worse, its cause the Lions are running a franchise.
