Steven Jackson Status Update: Jackson Will Be Active

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson will be active today, according to Jay Glazer. Glazer claims a team source told him that they play to active Jackson against the Ravens today.

The team confirmed Jackson's status moments ago via Twitter. There is also no indication of just how much action Jackson will see today. Cadillac Williams will play today, and it is possible that Jackson will see his touches trimmed as the Rams proceed cautiously around his injury.

Jackson strained his quad on the first play from scrimmage against the Eagles in the Rams season opening loss.

Limited or not, the Rams will be happy to have Jackson back. Earlier today, Jackson's agent, Steve Caric, signaled a possible return for his client, noting that he had started him on his fantasy team (conflict of interest?). Jackson may see some targets as a passing option as well, giving the Rams a physical player to matchup with the Ravens' linebackers.

but let’s hope he performs better than Salas.

My thoughts...

1. Rams need legitimate receiver[s].
2. It annoys the hell out of me when I see Spags clapping after bad plays.
3. Billy Bajema and Justin King need to get the boot.
4. Hoom is injury prone. Hist talent means nothing if he's not on the field. Needs to be replaced.
