Steven Jackson Status Update: Jackson's Manager Signals A Start
The St. Louis Rams would love to have running back Steven Jackson healthy for today's game against a tough Baltimore Ravens defense. Jackson has been sitting out practice all week, and most think that he won't play even though the team lists him as a game time decision. Jackson's agent, Steve Caric, sent a signal today that his client's status may be better than expected.
Jackson's agent, obviously, has nothing to do with the final decision. Jackson himself will not make the final call either. The Rams coaches and training staff get to make that decision. If history is any guide, they may opt to be cautious with Jackson, as they'll need him later in the season.
The real key here may be Cadillac Williams, Jackson's primary backup. He was limited in Friday's practice, and is said to be a game time decision himself. If Williams absolutely cannot play, they may opt to get Jackson dressed.

Heh
I was just coming in to post that. Major upgrade. Craig Dahl is awful.
Agreed
I’m not too impressed with Dahl. He had his moments last season but teams now know how to game-plan against him and take huge advantage.

Well, good thing I already decided to start CJ Spiller instead.
That’s looking like a smart move right about now.
