Steven Jackson Injury: Game Time Decision For Jackson
Steven Jackson is once again a game time decision for the St. Louis Rams today. Jackson did not practice on Friday. He is expected to be evaluated before the Rams host the Ravens at 3:05 p.m. local time.
Jackson has just two plays under his belt on the young season. He strained his quad on a touchdown run versus Philadelphia on the Rams' first offensive snap of the season opener. On the field Monday night, he tried to go through the workouts, but could not complete a 40-yard dash.
Also of some concern, Cadillac Williams was limited in Friday's practice. The Rams' primary backup suffered a hamstring injury Monday night. Earlier in the week, coaches were confident that Williams would play, but Spagnuolo referred to him as a game time decision on Friday.
Injured running backs are troubling news for the Rams. Since the end of last season debate swirled about Jackson's ability to stay healthy as a 28-year old running back with a ton of touches on his resume. An injury on the first play of the season has done nothing to settle that.

"Troubling news for the Rams"
The fact that Jackson was hurt with limited contact and pretty much running in a straight line is indeed troubling. We definitely could use a healthy Steven Jackson in this game. To make matters worse, Cadillac is tweaked. I’d have to believe if he wasn’t, he’d participate and at least have is head in the game after last weeks debacle. If neither one of these guys can play today, here’e hoping that Jerious Norwood can step it up.
