The St. Louis Rams looked a little healthier at practice today, healthier and hopefully seasoned from last week's experience. Among those returning to the practice field today were OT Jason Smith and CB Bradley Fletcher. Both were limited, however.
In spite of a dislocated elbow, Danny Amendola's season might be back on track sooner rather than later. Sure, he'd play now if the doctors would let him, but Scrap-O-Matic 2011 could be back as soon as week 6, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Master of understatement Steve Spagnuolo called Amendola a "tough dude."
Steven Jackson is still not officially out for this week's game, and would like to play. Don't rule out the possibility of him at least dressing, though it seems like a better idea to let him rest now that the Rams finally have competent backups. Still, Jackson may end up being a game time decision. Sitting out practices to rest bumps and bruises is nothing new for Jackson...keep an eye on his situation.
