Rams Sign RB Quinn Porter; Will Return Kicks
The St. Louis Ram added a running back to the 53-man roster today. Quinn Porter was signed away from the Cleveland Browns practice squad. Porter will be the third running back on the roster this week, behind Cadillac Williams and Jerious Norwood, with Steven Jackson out against the Giants.
According to Porter's agent, he will return kicks for the Rams. Jerious Norwood returned kicks last week for the Rams, and I wonder if he will now replace Danny Amendola on punt returns. In training camp this year, rookie WR Greg Salas did some return work, and fellow rookie WR Austin Pettis had one return in the preseason. Amendola gave the Rams a solid option at punt returner, and that contribution will be missed. The Eagles punted just once last week...once.
Porter was an undrafted rookie last year signed by the Packers. He bounced around before ending up with the Cleveland Browns. Hmm, think they got some insight from Pat Shurmur?
He was wearing number 39. Obviously, that will change with the Rams.
Expect another move or two soon.

Didnt the eagles punt twice?
Danny Muffed one the 2nd was a BS no flag for punt return interference
Keepin it KFC as always (Kool, Funky, & Clean)

Then Amendola got hit on another.

Yeah, the Eagles punted 3 times.
Only one was considered a return.
We didn’t not only punt once.
I can take a beating ... I'm a Rams fan.

After catching up on all the posts and the game, I feel bad about it BUT----
16 other teams also lost, some in total disarray. So it ain’t just us, it happens every week. We just gotta keep on chuggin, and do our best with what we are left with, We lost our first two games last year but still came out semi-ok.
It is what it is-
I'm looking forward to the BIG BLUE battle of the crutches
Stop being rationale

we will be getting a heavy dose of jacobs and bradshaw
need a better game from our safeties against the run, and poppinga needs to play better
My two favorite teams, the St. Louis Rams and whoever's playing the winers.
Our run D played great
besides the containment of Vick and one drive in the 4th against the eagles.
Manning doesn’t quite have the speed of Vick and our D is playing a slower team than the Eagles. I’m not too worried about the Run D
Baseball-Cardinals
Football-Rams
College Sports-MU Tigers!
eH?
Tim Atchinson got added to the 53 man roster? I didn’t think he was that good. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.
My thoughts...
1. Rams need legitimate receiver[s].
2. It annoys the hell out of me when I see Spags clapping after bad plays by the Rams.
More to come...
Yeah i question that
But the CB market must be pretty bad, because I’ve heard tony softli say hes more of a Safety than a CB

Come on FO, bring in a CB.
At least look at J. Nelson again. Looks like Al Harris will get some play now. We let go of some DB’s who could still be looked at.
