Lance Kendricks start or sit?

On my fantasy football team I have Owen Daniels and Lance Kendricks. Kendricks is projected to have 2 points and Daniels 8. I know Kendricks could have a huge week against the Eagles with their weak LBs. I know Daniels is a vet and good but I just think it could be a breakout game for Kendricks. I want to start him, what do you think? G O O O O

I am the only owen daniels vote so I will tell you why

TBH, your tight end points probably arent going to make or break your win or loss, most of the time they dont so if you were going to go with your gut and against the percentages, this would be a good area to do it.

Owen Daniels against a manningless colts team whos defense is designed to play down hill with the lead. If Collins cant keep pace with that texans offense, the game is going to be a blow out by the start of the 4th quarter which is the likely scenario. You gotta think alot of texan pass catchers are going to have big days against the colts.

This allows you to observe kendricks in his first regular season game while on the bench and see what you have there while enjoying good production from your texans TE.

Daniels

I think the matchup vs a weak Colts D is too good for Schaub’s 2nd favorite target.

I got Kendricks as my #2 as well, only behind Gates, so unless I need him in flex he won’t get much play.

I'm starting him

I have him and Mercedes Lewis as my two TE’s. I figure he’s probably going to be Bradford’s favorite target this week, and with the QB situation in Jax, I’ll wait a week to see how Mercedes is with McClown.

I'm going with Kendricks on both my teams,

due to weak LB’s and great CB’s of the eagles. Plus with the numbers he was putting up in the limited time he played in the preseason I think he earned a start with me and the Rams….

Got him in two leagues and starting him in two leagues.

It shocked me how spotty he was in drafts. According to their statistics he was taken in 22% of drafts yet one of mine he was taken out from under me and the other I picked him up right before someone else. Neither of which were Rams fans.

I have Daniels and Kendrick as my two TEs also.

I’m going with Daniels because Houston should just blow up the Indy defense and I’m hoping they get him a TD in the process. I will likely switch between the two during the season based on matchups. This week I just think the Indy defense is weak and can be had, just as we did to them in the preseason.
