What Mark Clayton signing means
Yesterday the rams signed WR Mark Clayton. How is he going to fill in to the mix? Well as I see it I think the Rams will definitely keep 7 receivers now. Because if your saying Donnie Avery won't make the team because he hasn't done anything, then the same can be said for Clayton. So the Rams have 7 spots and 9 receivers. I think Clayton is a lock for at least the first two weeks. I also think Avery will make it because he's had a pretty good preseason. So Alexander and Gilyard will be left, but if Mark Clayton doesn't play well I think either Gilyard or Alexander will be pulled up from practice squad.

I voted yes because Clayton had the ability to get open last year-
And he came to play every game. He was Sam’s favorite because he was always where he was supposed to be. (on his routes)
In the cool still quiet hours of night, you can hear Eagles players softly uttering love words to themselves while kissing their hands and arms. "I am the Dream team-I am the Dream team"
Yeah, he makes the team
But Amendola gets cut instead of Gilyard. So our 7 are:
Clayton, Avery, MSW, Gibson, Salas, Gilyard and Pettis.
Just my opinion, no need to do this again.
The truth is always the right answer....

No chance Amendola gets cut for Gilyard...
Gilyard was our 2nd worst receiver last year next to Robinson and Amendola was our best. There’s just no chance that he gets cut…for Gilyard of all people at least.
Austin Pettis...show me what I've seen from you all those years in Boise St.
You are going to feel pretty dumb
when the season begins, with Amendola on the team, and your endless tirades to spite him come to nothing.
