WR Mark Clayton Still in the Mix?

Several sources have stated that Mark Clayton has yet again visited the Rams, the latest visit yesterday. (Photo by Elsa/Getty Images)

Yet another rumor hitting the mill. John Clayton verified that WR Mark Clayton has made yet another visit to Rams Park yesterday for a health evaluation. John Clayton also said he is going to sign, but it may not be in the next week.

The last we heard Mark was a long way from being healthy enough for the Rams to consider signing him however, John Clayton sounds as though this is a given, and it may happen within a couple weeks.

This could continue to clutter the WR position, but if healthy it could seriously strengthen it as well.

The big question is, if Mark signs and does well in the preseason, who will be on the bubble or perhaps leaving?

We've heard Gilyard has improved, B Gibson has been solid, Pettis has shown flashes (although we know he isn't going anywhere) and Danny is Danny.

DX has had some swelling in his knee but had the dropsies.. but expected especially with the lockout.
