Mark Clayton's knee not ready?

The St. Louis Rams have delayed re-signing Mark Clayton because his knee hasn't passed muster with the medical staff at Rams Park.

Well, after making two late night discussions revolving around Mark Clayton, things get clearer. The quote below is from the St Louis Rams official twitter.

Spagnuolo says WR Mark Clayton is not fully healthy. Team is in touch with him and will maintain contact while he continues to rehabilitate.

This was kind of disappointing news. Clayton was a nice receiver with Sam Bradford, before the injury.

Now the signing of Mike Sims-Walker makes sense. Honestly, I would be surprised if Mark Clayton comes back to the Rams now. I think the Rams will keep their options open, but if his knee isn't ready now, how long will it take?

The Rams have a lot of receivers on the roster right now, it will be interesting to see what happens with Mark Clayton and the Rams
