Rams cut Larry Grant; Spagnuolo & Devaney address the media at 3 p.m.

Stay connected for news and updates

The St. Louis Rams have their hands full today, working out contracts for undrafted rookies, negotiating with draft picks and fishing for free agents, not to mention taking care of the current roster. Roster moves and free agent talk continue to fly around the web.

One move made by the Rams today was cutting ties with LB Larry Grant. Grant was acquired late during the 2008 season. Grant had a shot to solidify his place as the starting weakside linebacker, but didn't earn the job. Grant talked about that in his interview last month with me, speaking about the situation honestly. He cited a lack of consistency in his play as the reason. Grant will find work somewhere else and we certainly wish him the best of luck. Players don't have to take the time to talk to fans, but he did.

At 3 p.m. today Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo will hold a press conference live from Rams Park, followed at 4 p.m. by Billy Devaney and 4:30 p.m. by Sam Bradford and James Laurinaitis. You can watch their presser live in the video box below. In the meantime you can watch cheerleaders...win, win!
