It was a surprisingly busy week for the offseason, much less an offseason made even more tedious by the NFL Lockout. The St. Louis Rams managed to make the headlines and TST provided more than enough discussion to keep you ticking through the June doldrums. Hell, there was even some good news in on the lockout front.
Let's take a look back at the week that was.

NFL Lockout: Scheduled mediation cancelled, replaced by "settlement" talks
There was finally some good news this week on the lockout front. Reports of secret meetins surfaced followed by more details that those were actually settlement talks. It's a very significant development, especially considering that there are also reports of big concessions being made.
Easily the most popular post of the week. 3k took a detailed look at the 2-TE set and what it opens up for the offense. As you may recall, the Rams drafted Wisconsin TE Lance Kendricks in the second round of the draft this year. This reveals what McDaniels might be thinking regarding his new offensive weapon.
The week started with a bang as scandal rocked The Ohio State University, resulting in head coach Jim Tressel's resignation. Part of the fallout from the OSU scandal are whispers that five suspended players may opt to leave college football and consider coming out for the NFL supplemental draft. If they do, should the St. Louis Rams consider any of them?
A familiar faced played a big role in the player organized practices the week before last. Rams great Torry Holt put on his coaching hat, but revealed that he still wants to play. Will the Rams sign Torry Holt or Mark Clayton or neither? Tevin takes a look.
St. Louis Rams OL Adam Goldberg has hired Drew Rosenhaus as his agent, just as he hits free agency. Will the Rams re-sign Goldberg or will he find a better offer?

Tweet of the week
The tweet of the week dropped on us today, from none other than the Rams own Marquis Johnson, a seventh-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, he spent much of the season on IR after seeing a little time earlier in the year. Apparently, the lockout is having an effect on the former Alabama cornerback.
