The real problem with the cba situation

Stay connected for news and updates

I wasn't much surprised that the 8th circuit ruled in favor of the owners they do after all whether or not it is right or wrong rule heavily in favor of business. I then got to thinking what is the real problem I mean other then no 2011 or 2012 season and the nfl network droning on and on about the draft and showing reruns. The real problem isn't really between the owners and players on the contrary it's actually between the owners themselves. The owners have a revenue sharing program that was actually implemented in 1996 and 2006 basically it states that the richer teams have to share revenue with the poor team's and of course the owners have a problem with that owners like Jerry Jones for example. The owners instead want the players to pay the smaller teams 1 billion dollar's so they don't have too for those who are interested here is a link about the revenue sharing program that I think you will find interesting.

What it really mean's is that until the owners sit down and straighten out the revenue sharing program they have among each other there will be a repeat even after a new CBA agreement is in place.
