I know a lot of people are mad about the picks we selected this year. Let me try to make sense of it the best way that I can.
Round 1 Robert Quinn- Despite any injuries, tumors, or issues this kid might have had, he is still a beast. This guy could be a game changer from day one. AND he is only 20.
Round 2 Lance Kendricks- This guy is an elite TE. If anyone remembers the seattle game, our TEs couldnt catch anything. I love uh oh, but this guy can compliment him. And everyone knows Onubon is still a 4th TE, because he is still not ready. This guy was incredible in college, I hope he brings that to the rams.
Round 3 &4 Pettis and Salas- Two wide receivers who can catch the ball. I love DX, I love amandola. But Gibson, robinson and gilyard need to GO... then we have Avery and clayton coming off of injury. Avery hasnt had an injury free season yet, and Clayton is a free agent. These two guys will play into the two TE system that NE played with last year. They didnt need a big number 1 WR. Why should we. Plus both Avery, Clayton, and DX have the ability to stretch the field.
G, OLB,SS, RB and DT are big needs, but Giants selected a DT in 2nd round (austin), and I have a great feeling that we will get Barry Cofield, who is a beast. I would love to see Reggie Bush opposite SJax, but I dont know if we can afford him. I think he would be a great compliment to SJax. Just my opinion. I have a feeling about the OLB and G as well, but they may be long shots. Plus you can't fill all your holes in one draft. Buy I am confident in our team. the first 7 games are really tough though, but if we can get upto 2-5 in the first 7 games, we will probably go 10-6 for the year :-)
