Well with the 2011 NFL Draft over for the St. Louis Rams, I think we should look at the undrafted rookie free agents. First off lets start with Mark Herzlich.
Mark Herzlich, OLB- As of now he hasnt been drafted, and with our huge need of ours, this guy would be a logical addition to the team. He was once a top 10 pick but he was diagnosed with cancer and was didnt play for a year.
Derrick Locke, RB- If he ends up undrafted we need to look at him also. He would be a good change of pace back for Steven Jackson. He is quick, has good vision, and would most likely prolong Jackson's career by sharing the load.
There arent too many OG's that I would think we need that are rookies. So now for the veterans.
Quinton Mikell, S- Coming off his third straight productive season, Mikell might not be going back to Philly because they will most likely give Micheal Vick a big contract and cant afford him. So we got one safety in the draft but we all know we need more than one, so thats where Mikell would come in.
Roman Harper, S- A very good season in 2010 with 98 tackles, 3 sackks, and 1 interception. He should be reasonable when talking miney and wont break the bank.
Micheal Bush, RB- Has good size and speed he would be a nice backup for Steven Jackson if we choose not to go for Derrick Locke.
Dawan Landry, S- Also had a good season with 111 tackles, 4 pass break ups, and 1 interception. Would be nice to have a run stopping safety in a division with Ryan Williams, Frank Gore, and Marshawn Lynch.
Chad Greenway, OLB- Whether we get him or not, i dont know, but he had a very good season last year with 144 tackles and a sack. This would fill up a need on one side of JL55.
