first off, I would like to give special thanks to ramintheuk and dbcouver for helping me out with this. Basically this was a draft over on mockingthedraft that let someone from each team's sb nation site rep that team and act as general manager for their team. That person was allowed three trades. After the jump I'm gonna break it all down for you.
1: Mike Pouncey, OG, Florida: I traded down with baltimore for their first, third, and the sixth round pick that we traded for mark clayton. I picked Pouncey because he was BPA, and he filled a huge need.
2: Stephen Paea, DT, Oregon State: I didn't actually make this pick, ramintheuk did. I was going to pick marvin austin, but I had to leave so he picked Paea, who I have pretty much tied with Austin on my big board. He's a big, explosive DT, that will help fortify the line for years to come.
3: Greg Jones, OLB, MSU: BPA, and he fills a huge need. He may never be an all-pro, but he will be solid and old down the weakside OLB spot for a long time.
3: Allen Bailey, DE, Miami: another BPA and need pick, he could potentially be one of the best DE's in the league 3 years from now.
4: Robert Sands, FS, WVU: He's a big playmaking saftey that will ease the loss of Atogwe.
5: Jordan Todman, RB, UCONN: By far BPA, so ramintheuk and I decided that it would be best to trade a 7th rounder and swap 5th rounders with arizona to pick him. One of my favorite picks in this whole draft.
6: Jeron Johnson, SS, Boise State: A solid player that could be our next starting strong saftey, plus he's well like by alot of people on TST
7: Stanley Havili, FB/TE, USC: Another BPA pick, he gives Bradford another weapon that McDaniels can move around.
UDFA's: I'm not sure what's going on with these so I'll update this part later.
What do you guys think?
