I love the Rams, and I love the draft. I also love steals, and conversely I hate busts. The problem is applying these labels to guys that have yet to even play professional football. Labeling a guy as a steal or a reach is honestly ridiculous right now. It would be like judging how you'd do at work before you even set foot in an office.
Labeling Quinn as a steal right now is massively premature. While the combo of Long and Quinn sounds nice, the reality of it could be completely different than the pre season projection.
That also goes for later picks that the Rams have yet to make. I implore you guys, please, do not rage or cheer so much for a pick simply because some draft experts applied some labels to a guy. A couple years ago, Bradley Fletcher was considered a huge reach, and before him, Ron Bartell was also. Yet look at them now, both quality starting CB's for a rising team.
So, remember, take any analysts or experts grades or predictions with a grain of salt. The real time for evaluation won't be for another three years.
That being said, enjoy the draft guys and GO RAMS!
