St. Louis Rams Top 10 Draft Successes: #3 - Torry Holt
The St. Louis Rams picked Torry Holt with their first-round pick in the 1999 NFL Draft. That was a watershed year for the Rams as they collected the final pieces of the Greatest Show on Turf, the team that would define the Rams and put St. Louis on the map as an NFL city again.
Holt spent 10 seasons in St. Louis, and one more in Jacksonville. During that time he became the franchise's second all-time leading receiver with 12,660 yards, 869 receptions and 74 TDs. Only Isaac Bruce stands above him on the stat sheet, and Bruce spent 14 seasons with the team.
Really, I'm at a loss for what else to say about Holt. I remember being genuinely saddened to see both he and Bruce leave the Rams...the downside of the business.
Thanks for all the memories Torry.

HOLT!!!!
I love this guy so much… Was everything you could ask for in a player and person. So sad to see him go.. I wish he would come back.

BIG GAME!!
An all time great player. Wish he saw better days near the end though.. I’ll guess #2. SJax and #1. Orlando. Or vice versa.
Wait was Bruce already mentioned? because I would figure SJax then Bruce now with Pace being mentioned
I have to completely reanalyze me rankings.

Bruce was an LA draftee
Last two will be Pace and SJax. Which is a damn shame over Holt

A class act, and someone who any team would’ve loved to have on their roster for his contributions on and off the field. Thanks for the memories, indeed.
