Bargain Backs in the Draft
Just saw this article posted on BuildingTheDam.com, a little something about my boy Quizz, "Jacquizz Rodgers – Oregon State Quizz Rodgers, like Lewis, is a pint sized back. He measures at 5’7″ and 191 pounds. There aren’t many opportunities for 5’7″ guys who run 4.64 40s. However, as previously mentioned it isn’t always about the measurables. Rodgers has been as productive as any back in the nation over the past three years having racked up over 3,800 yards and 46 touchdowns. He also had over 150 receptions and 1,000 yards receiving. And, he does have power for his 5’7″ frame. If given the chance, Jacquizz could possibly make an instant impact on special teams. I see him as a poor man’s Darren Sproles." His 40 time isn't his impressive aspect, and I'm pretty sure he has better game speed. Honestly, the slow 40-time was not a big surprise to any Beavers fan out there.
