Hopefully if we can make up enough time, we'll have a second round. We were a little off track this weekend, but we've been picking things back up. DekaJ and the Buccaneers are up, and with the 20th pick, they select: Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa
Here is DekaJ's reasoning:
The Bucs had one of the worst pass rushes last year mainly due to no end rushers having any talent. Adrian has slid down in his draft stock but he is still a first round worthy player. Having Clayborn and a healthy Gerald McCoy gives Tampa Bay a stout Defensive line for a long time.
I agree with DekaJ on this one. The Bucs were a fringe team last year, one who had a legitimate complaint for restructuring the playoff seeds after sitting out with a 10-6 record. I'm a big believer in the whole is worth more then the sum of the parts...or something like that (I can't remember how those old sayings go). Adding defensive line talent to surround existing talent is a great way to improve a unit. Solid choice.
Next up is DMan83 and the Chiefs.
