It has been reported by ESPN that Kroenke intends to up his share of the English Premier League club from 30% to 62% of the club. Each share is worth over $19,000. I wonder how much of an affect this will have on his spending on drafting and especially draft picks. Arsenal for those who don't follow soccer or the EPL is a major label team in the best soccer league in the world. These soccer players make a ton of money and the transfer fees along with their salaries are extremely costly. Personally, I think this all but takes us out of the major free agent market. I don't see us going after any top notch free agents this year or even next, as Kroenke is putting forth a ton of money into buying the majority share of Arsenal. I hope that I am wrong about Kroenke and spending less on the Rams.
