Ok well i know that some of you already disagree with this post based on the fact that this is about not taking a WR in this year's draft. The only exception is if Julio Jones is available at pick #14. So i start out by saying again that we shouldnt take a WR in the 2011 draft. I say we sign someone in free agency, someone like Mike Sims-Walker or James Jones. Someone to give us some more depth and skill. That means we fill all our other needs like RB, OG, OLB, DT, ect. Then the seaon goes on and all of the sudden its the offseason again.
So we start to target our needs in the 2012 draft. Our first need would be WR for sure, without a doubt. So in the first round we look at Michael Floyd or some other guy who has popped up all of the sudden. It happens every year, this year it was Justin Blackmon or AJ Green. So I think we all agree that Justin Blackmon will be top 10 if not top 5 talent in the draft.
So unless we are one of the first 3 picks in the draft or his stock goes way down, he is out of the question. So now we look at Michael Floyd or someone just as or more productive. For me, i dont care who it is as long as we get a #1 for Bradford. But all of this begs the question, what and who will we be getting over the next 2 years?
