We've already had a ton of 2011 NFL Draft talk here today, and there's even more out there on the interwebs. I know St. Louis Rams fans, particularly those of you here at TST, are draftniks of the first order, so here's a round up of some other draft news happening today.
Mocking the Draft has an interview with Clemson S DeAndre McDaniel. Listed as a strong safety who could be drafted anywhere between rounds 2-4, McDaniel has talent and some ball skills. He has good instincts, but need to work on his coverage techniques. Do not rule out the Rams taking a safety in this year's draft.
Washington LB Mason Foster shares his thoughts from the Senior Bowl. One difference between college practices and those in Mobile: more focus on technique.
Rob Rang has his top 32 (+10) prospects list out today. A.J. Green is listed at #6 and Julio Jones is listed at #10. Also notable is that he lists Iowa DE Adrian Clayborn as a top 15 pick, especially for teams, like the Rams, that run a 4-3 defense.
DraftTek has a new mock draft out, and gives the Rams OLB Akeem Ayers with their first round pick.
