I just finished looking over the mock draft published at the WalterFootball.com site, and was pleased at the projection. The draft for the Rams, in that mock draft, played out as follows:
1st rd: WR Julio Jones
2nd rd: OG Stefan Wisniewski
3rd rd: DT Jurrell Casey
4th rd: RB Kendell Hunter
5th rd: OLB JT Thomas (OLB Lawrence Wilson, who was drafted in a recent live mock draft discussed on this site, was still available)
The mock does not project past the 5th round, but there were some interesting SS/FS prospects still available, including: Jeron Johnson, Chris Conte, Nate Williams, Da'Norris Searcy, Dejon Gomes.
Because I think Julio will be gone--hopefully taken by the Vikings, who will have already let the Rams have Sidney Rice-- if the Rams instead took a DE with the 1st round pick, which I think represents the most value, I would be ecstatic if the real draft played out this way.
What say you, Rams Nation?
