Short has 1st round ability IMO. His season may have been even more productive had his coaches not repeatedly moved him from DT to DE. Even with this puzzling decision making, Short had a good season:
54 TKL's, 7 Sacks, 1 FF 14 TFL, 1 PBU
He recorded multiple sack games against Ohio St and Illinois. Short was a force to be reckoned with. In the games I viewed I do not recall seeing Short driven back with the exception of being doubled teamed. He can penetrate with his quickness. Short can get nasty but for the most part plays under control. His power ienables him to draw the attention of more than one blocker; whicht clears a path for LB's to swarm. With Devon Still and Dontario Poe getting a lot of attention; it would not be surprising to see Short available in rounds 2-3.
