2011-12 Bowls: Military Bowl open thread (Toledo v. Air Force)

You may have noticed a distinct lack of a preview or other content relating to the 2011 Military Bowl between Toledo and Air Force. If so, you have earned the "I care about bowls way too much" badge! Be sure to show it off to your friends and rub it in their faces.
On a less serious note, this is an awesome football game, stacked with NFL prospects (outside of Toledo WR Eric Page, this isn't really true) and full of joie de vivre. I mean, there is so much joie in that vivre, I didn't think I could do it justice. So I talked to someone who did: former Rams lineman and Toledo alumnus, John Greco.
After the jump, my totally real interview with the totally real John Greco about the totally real Military Bowl (author's note: two of those things aren't real.).
(me): John, how would you describe the Toledo football program and what prospects do you think we should watch closely today?
(John Greco): I sat outside my home last night, and watched a snowflake fall from the sky. The air was crisp and clean. As it fell, I realized that we are nothing more than a single lifeforce, floating toward our ultimate end -- an end of both distinction and indistinction. That is the paradox of our lives. There is no escaping our fate to land on a the frozen ground of death. In the short time we fall from grace, we have moments which we will always remember as profound and personal. And yet to the world, it is but a soft swing, the extension of the cradle in which we again affirm our vanity and vulnerability as we sashay toward our demise slowly. Softly.
(John Greco): Eric Page is pretty good.
(John Greco): Snowflakes, bitch.
So uh, there's your preview. You're welcome?

Special thanks to John Greco for finding the time.
I’m assuming that’s also his mug shot from the time he went to Beef ’’O’’’’’’’Brady’’’’’s and got just a tad too rowdy.
One has to wonder- since Steve Loney obviously isn’t teaching these guys how to be effective linemen, perhaps he’s teaching them the finer points of Frost, Keats and Byron.
Happy Military Bowl, guys.

I have to believe so.

In three words?
Straight hot truth.
My only critique is that the screen will not rotate so I’m forced to type on the small and more irritating keyboard. Other than that, it’s pretty dope. No more needing to bounce from blog to blog to get my news.

yup
I don’t like the screen rotate. I also don’t like that you have to “add” blogs to the lineup. I’d like to be able to access them on a one time basis without adding them to the overall feed. But yeah, I like it too.
