Football is almost gone. That makes me sad. What makes me happy? That there's football on tonight! Whoopee!
Info and stuff about tonight's bowl game after the jump.
(NOTE: This could be the shortest intro ever. I will beat this record soon.)

Should be a solid game. And yes, NC St. OLB Terrell Manning alone is worth your time, though Louisville C Mario Benavides could be in play as well. It's one of those games that could easily yield no Rams or 3 or 4. With as many holes as we have, you could probably say that about a dozen bowl games.

This time of year, it used to be that one could expect to see at least 3-4 games a day. The bowl games didn’t start until Christmas and were done by New Years day. That made it something to look forward to. It’s better now to just watch the regular season. On any given Saturday during the season you can watch 5-10 games that are as good a match ups as these are.

Also wierd that ALL NFL games are being played on Sunday, Jan 1
No Thursday or Saturday.
Like you said, Jan 1 used to be the domain of NCAA Football.

I used to plan my entire holiday vacation schedule around it
Drinking pop or beer with my favorite uncle Emery and tellin lies and arguing about what school did what whenever and conferences and crap like that. We’d eat fried oysters and cheese and I’d fall asleep in the recliner in front of the TV.

This needs to be their last bowl. It used to be the Meineke Car Care Bowl but that moved to Texas. It fits Charlotte a lot better with the NASCAR race track.
It’s difficult to consume Belk unless you have a cotton/polyester deficiency in your diet.

I'll second that.
I was really impressed with him against Clemson this year (I don’t think Watkins played that game). Although, I have been keeping an eye on him throughout the year, it seemed like every week he was racking up INT’s. He has great size and athleticism. He presses very well at the line of scrimmage. He also wins most battles when a QB throws it up for grabs. Definitely someone to keep an eye on for next year.
