Draft Prospect: FS Janzen Jackson, McNeese St 6'0 190
UDFA Prospect; is probably more accurate considering Jackson's being dismissed from The Tenn Volunteers for off field concerns in 2011. He transfered to McNeese St where he was used sparingly on special teams until late in the season where his talent was fully on display. In just three games for McNeese St, Jackson had:
31 Tkl's, 5 PBU, 3 INT''s, 1 INT ret for a TD, 1 FF
The kid is talented. He plays the ball very well and has the ability to create turnovers via INT. Jackson is very fast and closes in a hurry. A physical player in spite of his size; Jackson can lay the wood. Last year he had an impressive season for The Vols:
69 Tkl's, 5 INT's, 6 PBU
As a frosh he played across from SS Eric Berry and recorded: 37 Tkl's, 3 PBU, and 1 Int
The talent is there; check out his film from 2009 and 2010; the film does not lie. Jackson's talent will give him a chance to get drafted in spite of character concerns; IMO, Jackson is a late 1st round talent that will get picked later as a result.

Interesting
A highly talented player who can come cheap. Problem: we have our safeties.

Better player then Hines was and far better talent too...
wouldn’t mind picking him up…..UDFA would be great but I know teams are thinking the same thing…..If he’s around in the 5th I’d pull the trigger, Mikell is great but how long will he be around?
