PrintThe St. Louis Rams don't play until 4:15 p.m. Eastern time. Still, the NFL has plenty in store early for the hungry football fan, including headline games between Buffalo and the New York Jets as well as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus the New Orleans Saints. Those look like the most meaningful, least lopsided affairs on the early docket.
If you fancy some NFC West action, Seattle is in Dallas. San Francisco is in Washington, where they may leave the nation's capital with John Beck's head on a pike, merely as a trophy. That one could get ugly.
Everyone's still waiting for word on Sam Bradford. Hold tight. As of kickoff, the Rams have not announced a decision. He's going to give it a go in the pregame workouts. We'll have the news for you as it happens.
Grab a cold beverage, settle in and enjoy the matinee before the Rams game.

I think the time off to study the game will help Sam
Feeley has done a real good job of calling protections and plays to beat the blitz. With his injury, Sam, has been able to watch film and observe plays unfolding to see what is succesful. When he comes back iit will be with a vengence. Sam’s accurate passes to Lloyd. Plus all our other WRs will be covered by a CB, S, or LB further down the line. I mean now our second best WR will be covered by their second best CB and not their fist, like before Lloyd.

Can’t stand them. I only play in 16+ team leagues where the skill of an owner is actually relevant, not when you have to decide between Julio Jones or Miles Austin.

Look what pressure on the QB did last week. I read where Spaz back off of the pressure before to try to protect the weakened secondary. I don’t know why. Nothing protects a secondary more than putting the fear into the opposing QB.

This is one of the things that make me worry about our coaches. They watch something fail, time after time, and do it again. King couldn’t defend against my grandmother. We should put him out there and see what he can do.
