Sam Bradford Injury: Rams QB Getting Closer; Danario Alexander Misses Practice
St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford was a step closer to returning to work for the Rams today. Bradford joined his team for 7-on-7 drills and did individual work in practice today, though he was still limited. It remains to be seen whether or not Bradford will suit up and play this week against the Arizona Cardinals.
The real test comes tomorrow when the Rams hope to get Bradford more involved in practice It's important to note that Bradford has most definitely not been ruled out for Sunday's game. Keep an eye on how much work he does in practice tomorrow.
Wide receiver Danario Alexander's hamstring injury flared up in practice yesterday, causing him to miss practice today. I'm not all that sure the Rams need Alexander and his 41 percent catch rate. As I said yesterday, look for his role to be more specific with Brandon Lloyd in the mix now; that's a good thing.
Linebacker Brian Kehl was limited in practice today with an ankle injury. Kehl had a good game against the Saints last week, on the strong side of all places. I hope that the Rams have him back this week. Jason Smith and Darell Scott are still out of action.
