Bradford's Struggles

Obviously, Bradford is not playing well. There have been quite a few articles about this around the webs recently. Some make excuses, others wonder why, some present numbers, and others have no clue. All of these articles have some truth to them, but it is actually pretty simple why Bradford is struggling.

This is his second season in the NFL. Quarterback is a tough position to play. Bradford is currently gaining valuable experience for the future. Aaron Rodgers backed up Brett Favre for 3 years before getting his shot. Bradford is growing as a player and is the future for this franchise. He will be a great quarterback, but he needs time to develop. He was never going to go from his rookie year and become a Hall of Fame quarterback the next season.

As a fan, we all want him to be successful, but we want it now. That isn't going to happen and the best thing we can do is to have patience. Give him time (and play makers).

Random Thoughts:

1. There is no way the Rams would take Luck if they somehow ended up with the first pick in the draft. Don't care if it is a new staff or not his contract would not allow it. Also, Luck is an unproven commodity.

2. On the possibility of a new coaching staff. Unlikely. Kroenke owns quite a few franchises and spreads his money out. He always spends with a purpose. There is no way he pays a new coach and Spags. He will probably let the coaching staff finish out their contracts (1 year remaining) and then evaluate.
