Bradley Fletcher Injury: Fletcher Says Knee Injury Is Minor

Stay connected for news and updates

The St. Louis Rams have their fingers crossed while they wait for Bradley Fletcher's MRI results. Fletcher injured his knee in practice today in a collision with wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker. The team is concerned about the injury, as we noted earlier. Fletcher, for his part, seems to think everything will be fine.

According to an AP report, Fletcher said the injury is not a bad one. Let's hope. While Fletcher may be a talented young cornerback, he isn't a doctor. Players are notoriously bad at diagnosing their own injuries.

Fletcher injured his right knee in practice today. For those of you keeping score at home, Fletcher's right knee is the one he hyper-extended in a game against the Colts in 2009, his rookie year. He tore both his ACL and MCL, and it was considered a minor miracle that he returned to training camp last year.

Fletcher was having an MRI on his knee today.
