Saints Vs. Rams Video Highlights
The St. Louis Rams turned in more than their fair share of highlight performances in this week's big upset over the New Orleans Saints. For your convenience, I've compiled some of the photo and video highlights from the Rams' win right here. All season, the Rams have typically been the ones provided highlights for other teams. The embarrassment got to be too much for Steven Jackson, who rallied his teammates to dig deep and gut out the best Rams win in a long, long time.
Tons of great photos to look at, and unlike past weeks, they won't make you sick to your stomach. Just click on the photo above to see at least three dozen from the game, including Chris Long, Steven Jackson and even A.J. Feeley, making his first highlight worthy performance since...uh, a long time.
Of course, we have plenty of videos to see as well, including Darian Stewart's pick six, Robert Quinn's blocked punt, Brandon Lloyd's touchdown and more.
What was your favorite play of the game?
Videos after the jump to save you some load time angst.
First and foremost, here's Steven Jackson's impassioned exhortation of Rodger Saffold after a false start on a key drive in the fourth quarter.
Stewart's pick six:
Feeley's fumble in the end zone:
Brandon Lloyd's first touchdown in a Rams uni:
Finally, Robert Quinn's blocked punt:

My favorite? Jacks on bloody Mr Saffalse start
Good to see Jacks excited like that to win. Would really love to see Bradford doing this but this ain’t him. So Jackson has to do it!! And he did it in this game.
do i have to take back all the crap i been saying?
Or can we justify my frustrations?
The only thing comparable to a Rams win is a 49er loss!

nah, one win doesn't make up for the 6 game long suck fest this team turned in.
But if this is the point where Spags turns this team around and sets us straight, I’ll believe in him again and apologize for calling for his head. Hopefully we were all wrong about him and the first 6 games were an anomaly, but we’ll see.
Two things about me will never change. I will always root for the Rams, and I will always root against the Niners.
Loved seeing SJAX get on Saffold for making the same mistakes OVER AND OVER again.
Maybe he’ll focus more on getting the snap count right if he knows SJAX will be there to give him an ear full. My favorite play was the Darian Stewart pick 6 though. Stewart was playing solid all day, and just when you think the Saints might be charging back to screw us over, Darian Stewart slams the coffin and nails it shut. It was amazing.

he's still young, and his blocking looked a lot better yesterday.
But the mental mistakes have to stop. He’s not a rookie, but he’s been making rookie mistakes this year.

Did anyone see the Jackson reaction as the game was happening?
He drilled the heck out of Saffold and let the whole team know he was keeping them accountable. I could hear him screaming at Saffold and going crazy on the team. He was going off before and after the play was over.
HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR!!!
SJax is still a beast! Best RB in the league!

i had seen that video several times
but this is the first time i noticed sj calling saffold to come over to him so he could get personal with him. kudos to rodger for walking over to him and being a man about it and letting this leader speak his mind. i like rodger and think he will be a good one but he needs to get over these mental errors. hope this helps long term in that regard.
Can I pick two?
The punt block to show the Rams things can go their way.
And the Stewart pick-6 to put it out of reach.
I am glad for SJ finally getting so sick of losing he willed us to win, but that’s probably going to have to happen every week for the rest of the season.
THIS year's the year. I hope....
Anyone remember Jackson nearly picked up the first down on the ground on the looooong 3rd down.
Something like an 18 yard run. I sure as hell wouldn’t have tried to tackle him
Formerly JBaccSTL. Been losing sleep over Rams football since 1999.
After almost haymakering Saffold, I mean

hahaha, yea he was PISSED on that play and ran angry.
it was fun to watch. Especially when he got back to the sidelines and was still pissed off, giving the whole offense an ear full.
