Can we outscore the Cardinals.....the baseball team?

I couldn't help but notice, while watching SportsCenter this Sunday morning, that the St Louis Cardinals pounded the Texas Rangers last night scoring two TD's and a safety, in a 16-7 win.  I'm not a HUGE fan of baseball, but I am a Washington Nationals fan, so as you could imagine with the teams that I root for, I'm a glutton for punishment.  Meanwhile, the Cardinals are a couple wins away from clinching another World Series.  Fitting that the team from St. Louis was able to beat the team from Texas this weekend.  Let's hope our Rams can replicate that!

According to Adam Schefter, 'HC Steve Spagnuolo surprised his team by taking them to World Series game 3.'  That's one way to show your team a win, coach!  I'll hope that you sent them all with note pads.  And if the Cardinals want to ride the emotion of victory through the remainder of the weekend, it may behoove them to stay out of Cowboys Stadium today.  Repay the favor at your own risk, Albert Pujols.

The question is as simple as this:  Can we outscore the city's baseball team against the Cowgirls this weekend?  16 points is a milestone we've only been able to reach ONCE this season, in our 28-16 week 2 loss to the N.Y. Giants (barf).  I'll tell you that with the offensive weapons that the Cowgirls have, namely in their passing game, 16 points will probably not be enough to win.  With AJ Feeley at the helm this weekend, I certainly don't see our chances of scoring 16 for the second time coming any easier.  And with Justin King still breathing oxygen, 16 points may be an 80+ yard TD too little for us to win.

Maybe the question should be this:  'Will we outscore any team from last nights World Series game?'
