DeMarco Murray And Tashard Choice To Split Time For Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys will be splitting the running back duties against the St. Louis Rams this week. Cowboys' czar Jerry Jones revealed today that rookie DeMarco Murray and Tashard Choice will handle the snaps with Felix Jones sidelined with a high ankle sprain.
Jones said that Murray will be doing most of the work on first and second downs. Choice will be the man on third downs thanks to his pass blocking skills. The Rams were fairly effective against Green Bay's running game last week, limiting the Packers to just 90 yards on the ground. Of course, the Packers didn't really need their running game.
The matchup that will be of most concern for the Rams against the Cowboys is Dez Bryant and Miles Austin. The Dallas passing attack never really got much done against the Patriots last week, but they have to be licking their lips at the matchup against Justin King and Al Harris.
Murray and Sam Bradford are both former Sooners. Hopefully, Bradford is on the field for the Rams this week.
