I have a ping pong story that relates to the Rams. I played a lot of table tennis as a teenager. I would beat all comers over and over again. My friends improved as time passed. But I continued to beat them again and again. I would stomp them right-handed and left-handed. I would spot them points, as many as 10, 15, and one time - 17. I still won. Although right-handed, I would destroy them while holding a sandwich in my right hand while playing with my left. Time went by and finally one of the guys got very frustrated and said, "I don't get it. I swear I am as good as you, but you beat me every time. Why?"
My answer: "Because you think I will."
The Rams are afraid they will lose. They are afraid they will make a mistake. Teams that win think they will win. They KNOW they will win. Then they make it happen. Ping pong, anyone?
