2011 NFL Draft: Underclassmen flocking for the exits

Akeem Ayers of the UCLA Bruins will enter the 2011 NFL Draft.

Even with the St. Louis Rams out of the playoffs, this is still a pretty exciting time of year to be a football fan. Coaching intrigue involving Rams' offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur is burning up the wires, and then you've got the draft talk. Right now, as college bowl season winds down, you've got a flurry of underclassmen heading for the exits and declaring themselves eligible for the 2011 NFL Draft.

The latest entrant is Miami cornerback Brandon Harris. A player who might be of more interest for the Rams given their 14th overall pick is UCLA OLB Akeem Ayers. MTD has a few thoughts on Ayers' NFL future.

Keep an eye on Mocking the Draft for all the latest draft talk.

And a big thanks to Ottoman89 on Twitter for passing along some great video of Iowa DE Adrian Clayborn.
