So Danny boy is going to be calling the plays. Well this was kind of a shock to the layfan who was hearing drummed up rumors of childress coming down. Everything made sense. History with Spags. Similiar Scheme of offense, and proven molder of young Quarterbacks. But with childress comes a price. Unabashed pigheadedness. Now i first heard about McDaniels coming over on 101 ESPN and it was a bombshell, even to DFARR. Now theres alot to be said about the guy, not to much of it good but what i can say is this. He was the offensive coordionator of the 2007 New England patriots ( remember, the won who almost won it all, undefeated) that was the year tom brady had pro bably the greatest year of his career. Now that season earned him the job in Denver which amounted to be little more than a failed experiment., I think Mcdaniels will do the rams ALOT of good. he has come out and openl;y said already he wants to build the new offense around bradford AND jackson.  Denver was very pass happy this year running the ball 39 percent of plays. I also think that he'll be instrumental in grooming our prosepct in bradford into a bona fide winner. Mcdaniels i think is one of those coaches that better fits as a coordinator. i think he will make us scratch our heads at times, but i think that hes going to bring this offense back, like really bring it back.
