Hopefully our offense won't be as offensive as last year.
I knew our offense was bad last year but when I started breaking down the numbers I was floored. Man, we stunk. As a team we scored a grand total of 175 points! Just a tick under 11 points a game. 73 of those points were kicked through the uprights by Josh Brown with 19 field goals and 16 extra points after touchdowns. That leaves 102 points for the 17 TD's we scored and one of those TD's was an interception return.
So that means our offense managed to cross the goal line 16 times. That's one touchdown per game! No wonder we only won one game! Of those 16 TD's, ONLY four of them were by Steven Jackson and all four were rushing touchdowns. Five of them were TD receptions by Donnie Avery and three of them were touchdown receptions by Daniel Fells. That means the remainder of the skilled offensive players on the team mustered only 4 touchdowns! No wonder I spent more time at church on Sunday mornings instead of the sports bar!
I hope with the additions to the team and the chemistry we seem to be building that we can top those awful numbers by our bye week!

Less Fells please
He is fumble and injury prone. I’d prefer if Oh-oh and Bajema get more reps during the regular season.
So less than a TD a game. Nice
