Random Ramsdom: 9/9/2010
Strange to think that the next RR post I'll be doing will be after the first game of the season. I can't believe it's already fall and the NFL is ready to go, looming lockout or not. Let's get into today's links:
- How do you know Steve Spagnuolo is ready for the season? He is back sleeping in the bathroom. Season ritual or angry wife? hit the link to find out.
- Clifton Ryan remembers the facts: The Rams haven't beaten the Cards since 2006, the Seahawks since 2005 and the 49ers since 2007. Seriously now. That's just too damn long.
- Not helping those statistics is the fact that All-Pro Larry Fitzgerald will most likely be on the field barring a major setback. It's time to see if Bradley Fletcher Bradley's knee is at 100%.
- I was amazed at this: Check out the 2008 Rams team captains. Seriously, it's almost painful, in more then one way.
- Guess who is ranked last in the power poll!
- Ramsherd runs through the Predictalator. Does it predict any victories in the near future for the Rams?
That's all for today, enjoy the links and go Rams!

i love spags
one of the main reasons i want the rams to rebound quick is to prevent what could possibly be one of our biggest mistakes and that would be to fire spags.
and yeah we have been at 31-32 on every power ranking i have seen this offseason. that should change soon.
Also, what's the injury situation looking like for the opener?
is james butler the only started who may be out? is he injured or did he lose his starting job?
he is only back to conditionally practicing
I read somwhere last night, He is back to practice this week but still limited. I think that is why he isn’t starting.
It was my understanding
that he had actually been ousted from the starting spot by Dahl…of course the injury isn’t helping
great job ram_rod for providing these great links. Just wanted to share with the other great Ram fans here.
After Wednesday’s practice KSDK interviewed several players in the locker room to discuss the upcoming game vs. the Cards and put all of the videos on their website (ksdk.com). Laurenitus, Grant, Clayton, Bartell, as well as Spag’s and Bradford’s press conferences
Enjoy
GO RAMS !!!
I guess you have to earn (i.e., win) your way out of the bottom spot in this league
Life is tough, but it's tougher if you're stupid.

One of the things that has grated on me these last few years...
is the Rams inability to win in this division…I can think of no better way to send a message to the three other teams in the NFC West than a rousing victory over the Cardinals this Sunday…it is time to get this done…I don’t care if we go 3-13, but those 3 wins had better be against divisional opponents.
Bradford's preseason performance has given a lot of reason for optimism
but I think that expectations by some have gone through the roof and should be tempered a little. Reality (as shown in the RamsHerd article) is that only 6 games have resulted in victory in the last 3 years and that for the Rams – there are no such things as a “gimme” game.
I think the FO is making a lot of good decisions and are a few filled holes away from putting together a very competitive team – and I am happy with the direction. I said it before though and I’ll say it again – any win over 3 this year is considered a victory lap IMO.
I should be working right now...
While these Cardinals aren't the same as last season's...
they are still the defending division champs, so I’d have been shocked if anybody who isn’t a Rams fan or a Cards hater (I’m both) picked the Rams.
Rams 24 – Cards 17.
Be shocked then.
Some of the ESPN “experts” and Florio at profootballtalk have picked the Rams to win.
True, not overwhelming endorsements, but as the saying goes, “Any given Sunday”.
Even though Rosenthal picked the cardinals to win
he still had it 27-20 which is a heck of lot closer than Barry Wilner 20-3…… I don’t mind these guys that say we wont win but at least give us some credit
