NOW HOW WINS HEAD-TO-HEAD. 2009 OR 2010?
QB
Bulger vs Bradford (A)
- Bradford wins, by a long shot, Bulger is washed up.
RB
Steven Jackson, Mike Karney vs Steven Jackson, Mike Karney (T)
-Tie, because its the same people, but of course the backups stunk both years.
WR
Donnie Avery, Laurent Robinson, Keenan Burton, Derek Stanley vs Mark Clayton, Laurent Robinson, Brandon Gibson, Danny Amendola, Mardy Gilyard, Dominique Curry (A)
- So easy to see why 2010 team wins (even without Avery)
TE
Randy McMichael, Daniel Fells, Billy Bajema vs Daniel Fells, Billy Bajema, Illinois Mike, Fendi Onobun (A)
- 2010 wins on the fact that together, they are better, and Randy couldn't catch a cold in Alaska.
Tackles
Barron and Smith vs Saffold and Smith
- Um... 2009 wins only on the fact that Barron has way more experience than Saffold does. Smith is also a push on himself.
Guards
Bell and Incognito vs Bell and Goldberg
- Same as the tackles, 2009 wins, Incognito is better than Goldberg but has a way bigger mouth.
Center
Jason Brown vs Jason Brown
-Tie.
Defensive Ends
Leonard Little, James Hall, Chris Long vs Chris Long, James Hall, CJ Ah You, George Selvie, Eugene Sims
- It's a tie only because the 2010 Rams would have been better if Little came back as a situational rusher.
DTS
Clifton Ryan, Gary Gibson, Darell Scott vs Fred Robbins, Gary Gibson, Clifton Ryan, Darell Scott
-2010 wins solely on the fact of Fred Robbins being here.
WLB
Will Witherspoon vs Larry Grant
- 2009 wins because Will was more established, while Grant could go either way.
MLB
James Laurinitius vs James Laurinitius
-2010 James wins, if thats possible, James is now more of a leader, and knows the scheme more.
SLB
David Vobora vs Na'il Diggs
- 2010 wins because Diggs is more stable and better than Vobora, but having Dave provides more depth.
CB
Bartell, Wade, King, Fletcher, Butler vs Bartell, Fletcher, Dockery, Murphy, King, Johnson
- 2010 wins. Wade was a bust, and Fletcher will be good. Dockery and Murphy provide even more depth.
FS
OJ Atogwe vs OJ Atogwe
-Tie.
SS
James Butler vs James Butler
-Tie. Dahl provides help for him.
STs
-Not worth writing. Always the same. Tie
KR and PR
Stanley vs Amendola/Gilyard
-2010 wins by far, Stanley was cut to make room for Danny.
Final tally:
2009 wins: 3
2010 wins: 8
Tie: 6
That really means a lot.

Its amazing to see where we have come from the start of last year to the start of this year
about 1-2 more drafts and Free agencies and I see this team making a huge push for the playoffs
Sam Bradford
I agree with most of this post
Except to say that one player “ties” himself the next year. Most players get better/worse year-to-year.
Also, I’d take a scarecrow and a mannequin over Alex Barron and Richie Incognito.
"I have something 95 percent of all those All-Stars only wish they had: a World Series ring. If I had to choose between that and being an All-Star, it would be no contest. I’d grab the gold ring and never look back." -Tim Salmon
i sort of agree except like steven jackson will probably do about the same
not better or worse… but yeh Jason Smith should not tie himself for next year… i would be really dissapointed if that were so…
I believe the rams annouced that Dahl is gonna be starting this weekend over butler
I keep hearing that Dahl was better last year than Butler but Butler did seem to have better ball skills

Interesting that ...
Gilyard is behind Curry on the WR depth chart and behind Amendola on BOTH return spots.
I can take a beating ... I'm a Rams fan.
That depends
Which is greater?:
2nd WR2 or 3rd WR1?
Shurmur, your career is in 3rd and long. Don't run a draw.
Onobun > Gates
3rd WR1 right?
that’s slot isn’t it? that means he’ll be starting most of the time…
