Spagnuolo to officially announce Bradford as the Rams starter today?

St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo will speak to the media at 1 p.m. today. And just what will the coach have to say?

There is plenty of speculation that he will announce/anoint rookie QB Sam Bradford as the Rams starter. At this point, does this even qualify as news? On what planet would they not start Bradford, especially with Feeley still hurting? Maybe if Tony La Russa coached this team, but he doesn't...thank goodness.

Lots of activity on the wires today too.

Word is that Washington will release RB Willie Parker.

Rams Need a backup rb
Of course it doesn’t matter now, but before the draft I was really hoping the Rams would draft RB A. Dixion from Mississippi State, especially where they could have gotten him. I really felt he was going to be special, and still do. Because of where I live, I follow Miss. State. He was THE only true threat the bulldogs had, and he still pounded the rock! SEC teams would load up to stop A.D. and he would still get his yards. I wish the Rams could somehow snatch Dixion from S.F. Don’t believe it will happen, but it would be great. He would a great fit for the Rams. Longtime Rams fan, hoping they will return to Championship caliber. Rambro4ever

Dixon would have been good, but...

I was praying that with our 2nd round pick, we would’ve drafted McCluster. He would have been a sick b/u RB and a threat at wideout. Die hard Ole Miss fan, even if we are the SEC’s laughing stock thanks to today’s game.
