CFB / NFL draft open thread
I know it's a bit late (Texas A&M is up two TDs on Oklahoma St. as I write this), but better late than never. We've ramped up the draft talk as of late, and unless you're absolutely TST green, you know that makes me a happy Rams fan.
Here's my week 5 watch list. You can go through the file and find previous weeks and compare them to some of the changes. In about 3 weeks, I'll start ranking juniors and redshirt sophomores. As for right now, just enjoy the draftiness.
Holler, and go Rams. (BTW, Turf Show Radio is going on a year and a half without a real draft-related call...we'll be back on the air on Saturday)

I spend hours on the watch list, and flub the cutline on the photo. Such is life. Good catch – thanks bro.
You don't seem to want to accept the fact you're dealing with an expert in guerrilla warfare, with a man who's the best, with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather, to live off the land, to eat things that would make a billy goat puke. In *St. Louis* his job was to dispose of enemy personnel. To kill! Period! Win by attrition. Well, *Steven Jackson* was the best.

He's definitely an interesting prospect
Right now, compared to other sophomores, he’s a bit behind the curve, but being at OSU, I could see him becoming a mid-2nd round WR. It’s shaping up to be a LOADED WR class.

Im excited about the Oregon Stanford game among others. I want to see how luck fairs against the quick Oregon D and would like to get a better look at Casey Matthews and Cliff Harris against a top level opponent. I also love watching Oregon’s dynamic offense. Should be fun to watch. Also looking forward to seeing Sean Spence and Ray Ray Armstrong play again. I like both of them a lot, though Spence is a bit undersized. Looking forward to seeing how Greg Jones does against John Clay and the rest of the Wisconsin O. And obviously looking forward to the Alabama Florida game. Tons of talent all over the field on that one.
It's fair nitpicking though
It may not be a size at the college level, but it likely will be in the NFL. Same goes for Greg Jones, Michigan State’s MLB. Put it like this – Rennie Curran was a very solid OLB technically, and he went late 3rd round and is buried on the Titans’ depth chart. Size matters…

yeah, thats why I mentioned it. I figured it may stir up a few people on this site however, because there are also a large number of linebackers and players in general that have made it in the nfl despite their size. Players like Dumervil and Harrison. Given they are rush linebackers.
Oh sure, there's plenty
Pisa Tinoisamoa is undersized and he’s a capable OLB to say the least. I’m not saying it necessarily means a player “won’t cut it”, I just mean it’s a hurdle to overcome. Good players are able to overcome hurdles.
