I watched each 1st team offense play 3x last night...

and Jason Smith was the worst player on he field. Jeeezuz——he looked like a fish flopping on a broken pier in the red zone. The man is not a good run blocker—-and his pass defense is not 1st round quality. What are the ramifications of cutting this dud?

Nice list. It's probably pretty close to right.

The cut I wonder about is the safety Steward. If K. Payne is hurt enough to be out for several weeks, they may need the fourth safety and he didn’t look that bad.

Stewart

Great tackler, but loose on his coverage. When I say great, I mean textbook as he is not someone who misses tackles. However, his coverage was a little loose.

good but a few problems

Look for us to keep 6 WR

4 TEs is a waste of a roster spot thats not happening

one OL to few and 1 DL to many

Genetic

way wrong. He is an awesome run blocker, and his pass blocking does need work. Remember this guy was a converted TE. He still has a huige upside, even the most knowledgable offensive line experst who have been down on him still know he has huge upside, and he is a “mauling run bloackher” and has “tremendouis upside”. these are qoutes from Jim H. who im am sure knows a tone more about O line than you do.

the issue about the TE and WR have been rasied. so i wont comment to much. Maybe Fells gets cut, and we bring in a free agent WR… i don’t know who would be out there

And why don’t they IR Danario (Leg issues as reported in the Post) and allow someone else on the practice squad. that way D.A. can rehad, stregthen those muscles that have weakened from so much time off, and just study study study the play book

Good overall, but some comments

Disagreements:

1) Null is gone. I really liked Lewis’ ability to scramble and make plays. His only INT was on a blown blitz pick-up by Fendi.
2) Victor Adeyanju is gone. He doesn’t offer any upgrade in skills compared to the other Ram DEs.
3) Cudjo needs to make the team, otherwise he will be swooped in on as a practice squad guy. I would also contemplate moving Sims to the practice squad and subbing him back in on gameday if there are injuries to the DE position.
4) Toston will be practice squad material once the Rams find their vet in FA.

Otherwise, looks great Coach Garrett!

We could keep just Bradford and Feeley.

Hopefully we won’t need more than that. That gives us an extra spot to play around with.

Shurmur, your career is in 3rd and long. Don't run a draw.
